The third fight featuring Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao ended in another controversial Majority Decision win for the latter. The photos below will show you a replay of what happened during the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight. The full fight video replay will be posted here once it is made available.

Who Won the Pacquiao-Marquez Fight?

After another 12 long rounds, the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez finally went to the judge’s scorecards. The first two fights also ended in 12 rounds each and this fight is no different. This third act of the trilogy is another epic battle, which many will watch through the replay for a long time.

Who won the third Pacquiao vs Marquez fight?

Michael Buffer announced the scorecards and many were excited to hear it. The score of Robert Hoyle was read and it was 114-114, then everybody shouted. Dave Moretti's score was 114-113, and Glen Drowbridge 116-112.

The winner by Majority Decision is Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao won the second fight while the first bout ended in a draw. This is another close decision fight but Manny performed better in several rounds. He threw more punches and landed more compared to the Mexican ring warrior. He was the more active boxer while Marquez got very conservative in the late rounds.

The crowd is clearly not happy with the outcome because the venue is full of boos. Manny Pacquiao’s fans are happy but not “too happy” because this fight is still controversial. Hopefully there will be another Pacquiao vs Marquez fight but the fans wants a Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao.

Interviewed by Max Kellerman, Juan Manuel Marquez and Nacho Beristain believes, that like the first two fights, they were robbed. They strongly believed that they won this time around because Juan Manuel hit more accurate punches.

The replay video of the Pacquiao-Marquez fight will be posted on this website once it is available on video sharing websites such as YouTube, DailyMotion, etc.

Promotional Videos of the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez

The Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 will happen in three days and the boxing fans from all over the world are very excited to see another thrilling and heart-pounding fight between Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines and Mexican Juan Marquez. As part of the promise of HBO (Home Box Office) to make this Pacquiao vs Marquez fight a success in terms of ticket sales and pay-per-view buys, HBO sports developed several videos to help in promoting the fight, which no longer needs to be hyped up because of the first two fights, which happened in 2004 and 2008.

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez first fought to a split draw in 2004. The latter suffered three knockdowns in the first round but he was able to end regain his composure and fought relentlessly in the following rounds. The first Pacquiao vs Marquez fight ended in twelve rounds and to the dismay of many fight fans, the match ended in a split draw. It should have been given to Manny Pacquiao is one judge did not score the first round 10-7 instead of 10-6 because of the clear three knockdowns scored by Manny.

The second time Juan Manuel Marquez met Manny Pacquiao was in 2008. The rematch, expected to end via knockout, finished 12 rounds. In the third round of the second Pacquiao vs Marquez fight, Manny Pacquiao once again scored a knockdown. It was in the third round but Marquez got back up and unleashed his fiery attacks at Manny. When the scorecards were announced, Manny Pacquiao won via split decision, which made the camp of Juan Manuel questioned the results because they thought Marquez performed better in the later rounds of the fight.

Photos of Manny Pacquiao's Grand Arrival in Las Vegas

Manny Pacquiao, a 16-year professional boxer, is confident that he will win against Juan Manuel Marquez this coming Saturday inside the luxurious MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. His opponent Marquez is also positive of pulling the biggest upset in the sport because this is the first time he trained very hard for a fight. 18-year veteran Marquez believes his training regimen including the help of his new condition coach Angel Hernandez will give him the extra boost to take on the speed and power of Pacman.

As part of the tradition of the sport, the fans inside the fight venue welcome the boxers. Named as “Grand Arrival”, the boxers will step down from their promotional buses and walk through a jam-pack crowd inside the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

All the images below are captured by Chris Farina, the official photographer of Top Rank Promotions, the promotional company that promotes both Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. The weigh-in of Pacquiao vs Marquez is on November 11, 2011 and hours later will be the last episode of the Pacquiao vs Marquez 24/7 series.

Weigh in of Pacquiao-Marquez on 11-11-11

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will have their final weigh in on November 11, 2011 or 11-11-11. Many feng shui experts believe that this is going to be a lucky day for many. Expected to weigh not above 144 lbs, Pacquiao and Marquez are going to give part of their purse to the opponent if ever they are over the agreed weight limit.

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is going to protect his WBO Welterweight Crown against Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12, 2011 inside the luxurious MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. For those who do not know, the normal welterweight weight limit in boxing is 147 lbs. Because the last time Marquez fought at the 147 lbs class - against Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2009 - he did not perform well, Pacquiao agreed to make the cut a little lower for the advantage of Juan Manuel.

Marquez is consistently saying that he won the first two fights that he and Manny fought atop the boxing ring. He even wore a shirt, which has a print "Marquez beat Pacquiao twice", after winning via TKO against Michael Katsidis.

Official Referee and Judges of the Pacman-Dinamita Fight

Six days to go before the much-awaited fight between Filipino Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Mexican Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez. Keith Kizer, the Executive Director of the NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Commission) informed the public that the official referee of the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 is Tony Weeks while the official Judges seated at ringside are Robert Hoyle, Glenn Trowbridge and Dave Moretti.

Tapped by NSAC to be the third man in the ring in the Pacman vs JuanMa fight, the commission believes Referee Weeks is capable of making the fight exciting. He will see to it that the fight has minimum foul plays such as head butt, stepping on the foot and low blows because he sees them fast and penalize the boxer if he commits a foul.

Born on August 18, 1956 in the United States, Referee Weeks now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, minutes away from the venue of the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3.

It's Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Time!

After the much-discussed controversial bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz, fight fans are now discussing the upcoming Pacquiao vs Marquez fight, televised on HBO Pay-Per-View. This is the third time Manny Pacquiao and Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez fight above the boxing ring. The first two fights were great but both of them assure the fans that the third time will be better.

Filipino southpaw slugger Manny Pacquiao fought Juan Manuel Marquez in 2004 and 2008. The first Marquez vs Pacquiao fight ended in a draw and the second fight ended in a controversial split decision victory favoring Manny Pacquiao.

Marquez, an 18-year boxing professional, feels that he won both fight. In his opinion, he performed better than Manny Pacquiao even though he suffered four knockdowns in the two fights.

Boxing needs "winner-takes-all" not "guaranteed purse"

Last Saturday, we all saw that scandal done by Floyd "Money" Mayweather and "Vicious" Victor Ortiz to the sport of boxing. Millions of boxing fans around the globe, who watched the fight, say that it was a scripted or staged or drama fight because of several reasons.

A clear indication that the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight was a scripted fight is that Ortiz, who used to be a clean fighter in all of his previous fight, took off like a NASA spaceship after he cornered Mayweather. Using his head, he clearly hit him in the chin and Floyd responded as if he was very hurt. Referee Joe Cortez stopped the action and Ortiz hugged and kissed Floyd, which is gay thing to do for a fighter of his type. Cortez brought Ortiz to the middle of the ring (and Floyd to the corner) to deduct a point to the scorecards.

Now all three were in the middle of ring. Victor continue to apologize to Floyd and tried to hug him again which is still very unorthodox for a fighter, even a young 24-year-old, to do. Before Cortez was able to say "fight" or "go" because he was still looking at the judges or timekeeper, Mayweather hit Ortiz with a left-hook and right-straight - both punches, in my opinion, don't look very strong to KO the likes of Ortiz - and Victor went down to the canvass easily. Cortez then reacted to the knockdown by counting from one to ten and Victor no longer stood up.

Results, Replay and Reaction

The mega-event that featured undefeated American Floyd Mayweather Jr and Mexican-American Victor Ortiz was a success except for, in my opinion, the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight. Even though many are not happy with the outcome of the main-event, boxing fans still appreciate the very entertaining fights, end results and who won.

The first televised fight was the Vargas vs Lopez fight. Vargas managed to win against Lopez by SD (split decision) in a very entertaining fight. The official cards were 95-94 Lopez, 96-93 Vargas and 95-94 for Vargas but many thought Lopez won the fight.

After a slow start, Mexican-legend Erik Morales came back to life in the middle rounds. He now won his fourth weight division title as he pound down undefeated 21-year-old Pablo Cesar Cano in a bloody fight. Because Cano can no longer continue to handle Morales' barrage of punches, referee Kenny Bayless decided to stop the fight in the 10th round.

It is Fight Time!

Mayweather vs Ortiz fight time is finally here. Answered today will be the many questions boxing fans around the world wants to know. Will Mayweather still be the same veteran boxer and win against a young southpaw? Will Ortiz pull an upset on fight night and retain his crown?

It is fight time and there is no stopping it. Trending in Facebook, Twitter and Search Engines right now are topics about Mayweather vs Ortiz (held at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada) and the heavy undercard that includes Alvarez vs Gomez (held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California), Morales vs Cano (MGM Grand) and Lopez vs Vargas (MGM Grand).

Because the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight happens today, the weekend after the Mexican Independence Day, Mexican boxing fans will surely fill the two sites that will hold the events. Floyd Mayweather is the heavy favorite and the betting odds are in the middle of -600 and -800. Five months ago, Victor Ortiz may have won and acquired his WBC Welterweight belt against Andre Berto but he is still the underdog with betting odds between +400 and +525.

The long wait is finally over, Mayweather and Ortiz fights today

Announced first in April 2011, the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight will finally happen today. After Victor Ortiz's (29 wins, 2 losses, 2 draws, 22 knockouts) win against previously undefeated and reigning WBC Welterweight title-holder, Andre Berto, Floyd Mayweather Jr (41 wins, 0 loss, 25 knockouts) climb up the squared circle and presented himself to be the next opponent of the newly crowned champion.

The long wait is finally here. Mayweather versus Ortiz will happen tonight inside the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Boxing fans are already anxious to hear Michael Buffer, the ring announcer, to deliver his popular boxing spiel - "Are you ready to rumble?"

The betting odds of boxing are all favoring undefeated American Floyd Mayweather Jr but 24-year-old Victor Ortiz is unfazed of his underdog status. He is confident that after the fight, he will still be the WBC Welterweight Champion of the world.

Tonight, catch the round by round live updates on the Ortiz vs Mayweather mega-fight. It is expected that that jam-packed crowd inside the venue and the millions of fans watching on HBO live streaming will be entertained by the fireworks performance of the two boxers and their undercards.

Official Weights and Photos

In front of a jam-packed crowd, the boxers featured in the Star Power event finally tipped the scales to show the boxing world their official weights prior to the fight. Notable people who joined the boxers in the weigh-in were Golden Boy Promotions owner Oscar De La Hoya and CEO Richard Schaefer, Michael Buffer as the announcer, Keith Kaizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the official weights and Jose Sulaiman, the president of World Boxing Council.

Official weights:
Jessie Vargas - 142 lbs vs. Josesito Lopez - 140.5 lbs
Erik Morales - 140 lbs vs. Pablo Cesar Cano - 140 lbs
Victor Ortiz - 147 lbs vs Floyd Mayweather - 146 1/2 lbs

Fight Analysis

The Mayweather vs Ortiz fight is very much in the air now. Many boxing fans waited for Floyd Mayweather's comeback fight - and they were expecting it to be against Manny Pacquiao - but Floyd chose another southpaw, Victor Ortiz. Searches at Google about Ortiz vs Mayweather is very overwhelming now, we can really see the increase in the search results in the United States and other parts of the world.

Floyd Mayweather's patented shoulder-roll defense will surely frustrate Victor on Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz fight night. Even though their camp reviewed the tape repeatedly, Mayweather's defense will still be the best in the sport. "Pretty Boy" used to be the moniker of Mayweather because no one has really dismantled his face yet. One opponent after another, Floyd has used the shoulder-roll as a technique to deny the onslaught oppositions' give him.

Danny Garcia believes that there is a solution on Floyd's shoulder-roll and that is to bring him to the ropes. Ortiz will then fight in close distance. If Victor can make it a phone-booth fight, he has a chance of landing a huge uppercut that can surely hurt Mayweather.

As much as we wanna see Mayweather get washed, I don't think it's likely to happen against Ortiz

Numerous boxing fans believed that Victor Ortiz would be "Vicious" enough to hand Floyd "Money" Mayweather his first defeat in his 16-year professional boxing career. I know a lot of boxing fans out there agree with me that as much as we want to see the undefeated American suffer his first loss, it is less likely to happen on Saturday in the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr may be the villain of the sport but he has also made it what it is today - $70 for HD (High Definition) pay-per-view, not giving the fans what they want by not fighting Pacquiao, long absences from the sport is still fine, random drug testing and a lot more. Obviously, he is one of the best boxer-promoters of this generation who knows how to promote his fights blatantly - including the upcoming Mayweather vs Ortiz.

Mayweather's date with Victor Ortiz is on Sept 17 at 6pm Pacific Time (or 9pm Eastern Time). The event dubbed as Star Power features entertaining undercards' Alvarez vs Gomez, Morales vs Cano and Vargas vs Lopez. Mayweather vs Ortiz will be the main event.
