Before we see the fight dubbed as Star Power, let's compare the two pugilists based on the tale of the tape.

The Mayweather vs Ortiz tale of the tape will give a glimpse to the boxing fans and analysts on what will happen when Floyd and Victor fight for the WBC Belt which the latter won against Andre Berto in his last fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr, 34 years old, is 10 years older than Victor Ortiz. Both boxers are rated at the highly acclaimed Welterweight Division (147 lbs). Floyd is an Orthodox while Victor's boxing stance is Southpaw.

The height advantage of Victor Ortiz is only 1 inch higher, at 5'9" (175 cm), compared to Floyd's 5'8" (173 cm) height. "Money" Mayweather has a clean record of 41 wins, no losses and no draw. He has scored 25 knockouts from those wins. He is a ring veteran who has boxed 299 rounds and his KO percentage is 60.98%. "Vicious" Ortiz lost twice in his professional boxing career. He has won 29 fights, 22 of which are knockouts and he has 2 draws. He is the least experience boxer compared to Floyd. Even though his KO percentage is much higher than Mayweather at 66.67%, his total number of rounds boxed is only 145.
