It's Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Time!

After the much-discussed controversial bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz, fight fans are now discussing the upcoming Pacquiao vs Marquez fight, televised on HBO Pay-Per-View. This is the third time Manny Pacquiao and Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez fight above the boxing ring. The first two fights were great but both of them assure the fans that the third time will be better.

Filipino southpaw slugger Manny Pacquiao fought Juan Manuel Marquez in 2004 and 2008. The first Marquez vs Pacquiao fight ended in a draw and the second fight ended in a controversial split decision victory favoring Manny Pacquiao.

Marquez, an 18-year boxing professional, feels that he won both fight. In his opinion, he performed better than Manny Pacquiao even though he suffered four knockdowns in the two fights.

Manny Pacquiao also feels the same. He feels Marquez robbed him the first time they fought atop the squared ring inside the MGM Grand Arena. He scored three knockdowns in the first round alone so the scorecards should be 10-6 but one referee scored it 10-7, which made the fight a split draw.

Pacquiao vs Marquez III is promoted by Top Rank Promotions, in association with HBO pay-per-view, MGM Grand Arena, Tecate, MP (Manny Pacquiao) Promotions and Marquez Promotions. There will be several undercard fights before the televised undercard will start broadcasting at around 9pm Eastern Time (or 6pm Pacific Time).

Manny Pacquiao, now a Congressman in the Philippines, wants to make sure the he wins this fight via knockout. He wants to erase all uncertainties that he lost the first two fights. He will defend his WBO (World Boxing Organization) Welterweight Belt against Marquez on November 12 at a catch weight of 144 lbs,3 lbs lower than the welterweight limit.

The first and last time Marquez fought at Welterweight is against Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2009. Floyd Mayweather was over 2 pounds the agreed weight limit during the weigh in and had to pay Marquez the agreed penalty. Juan Manuel Marquez weight was fine. During the fight, it was evident in the first round that Marquez was slower compared to the undefeated American. In the later rounds, Marquez suffered a knockdown. The Marquez vs Mayweather fight ended in a lopsided unanimous decision victory for Floyd.

Manny Pacquiao's path is different from Marquez. He climbs up the weight ladder and won against prime boxers including Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito among others. Pacquiao is on a 14-win streak and many believe that no one can defeat him at this time of his career.

Marquez agrees that Pacquiao is bigger and better today compared to the last time they fought. He knows Manny has a strong left hand but the right hand is now better than ever. Nevertheless, he is confident he will pull the upset on November 12 in the Marquez vs Pacquiao 3 because of the effort he put during training. He is positive that with the help of doctors and his conditioning coach Angel Hernandez will give him the strength and power to exchange superior punches with the pound-for-pound king.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 televised undercards are Alvarado vs Prescott, Cruz vs Burgos and Bradley vs Casamayor. This will give the boxing fans another reason to watch the live streaming of the fight on HBO pay-per-view.
